Mr. Timo Vihervaara is Senior Adviser of Police Operations and ICT integrations in National Police Board of Finland. He has been involved in Finnish police ICT solutions’ development from Live Video systems and ANPR/ Cameras inside the Field command systems to speed radars and surveillance in the ICT equipment of police vehicles.
Currently, he coordinates ICT-developments at Police Board’s Operations Unit of Public Order and Security. Vihervaara is partly responsible for the new field command and control solution and software of body cameras development in the Police of Finland. Future remote connection solutions (Virve2) from ideas to needs, equipment's development and testing are also part of Vihervaara’s responsibility.
