Stanislaw Slowik
Stanisław Słowik is the co-founder and President of the Management Board at AKSEL, a role he has held since the company’s establishment in 1990. A graduate of the Faculty of Electronics at Wrocław University of Science and Technology, his career in radiocommunications was inspired by his teenage passion for amateur radio, which began in the radio club at a renowned Electronic Technical School in Poland.
He received his first broadcasting license in 1970, with the call sign SP7FAD, marking a significant milestone in his early interest in radiocommunication. Although he paused this hobby temporarily during university, he later resumed it in Silesia, where he joined the SP9KJT radio club.
Throughout his career, he has been committed to advancing professional and mission-critical communications, contributing significantly to the field. He is actively involved in the Programme Committee for the National Conference on Radiocommunications, Radio, and Television, and is a member of the Foundation for the Support of the Development of Radiocommunications and Multimedia Technologies. In recognition of his impact, he has been honored with the title of Leader in Polish Teleinformatics and awarded the prestigious Golden Cyborg statuette. Despite a busy schedule and frequent international commitments, he maintains a deep appreciation for the field of connectivity, which has been a lifelong pursuit.
