Jeroen Wigard
Jeroen Wigard received an M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from Technische Universiteit Delft, Netherlands, in 1995 and a Ph.D. degree on the topic of handover algorithms and frequency planning in frequency hopping GSM networks from Aalborg University, Denmark, in 1999. He joined Nokia Aalborg, Denmark, where he worked on radio resource management related topics for 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G. He is currently with Nokia Standards, Aalborg and leads a research project for 5G standardization related to UAVs, and Non Terrestrial Networks (NTN). He has authored or co-authored over 100 journal and conference papers and holds more than 100 patents applications.
